Sorry. I lost the copy I wrote on here but here it is.
Chapter 1
On a breezy summer night in a forest in the country of China, sat a man cooking his dinner over a fire. His name was Seumadene. He was skillful in martial arts, taiquando, karate, and all the other fighting arts. He was tall, slender, and quite agile. He had only a dagger for a weapon. Any way, he had just finished cooking his dinner and put it on a plate, when he heard a snapping of twigs behind him. He set his dinner down on the ground beside him and pulled out his dagger. He turned around, but saw nothing. He still heard great noises where he was looking, yet he saw nothing, but large dog-like prints in the mud along the woods. Then he remembered a story he was told. It was about shadow wolves. They were great, dark, wolf-like creatures who could appear and disappear whenever they wanted and sometimes ventured into our world, which lived in another realm and could not be tamed by anyone. Accept for one man who had befriended one and learned his secrets. He soon became like the shadow wolves. He gained their trust as well as their supernatural abilities. Later he disappeared and supposedly went to live in the realm of the shadow wolves. Seumadene figured it must be a shadow wolf. He suddenly remembered the words that the man had spoken to make the wolf visible. The wolves only chose one they thought worthy. This was the chance of a lifetime! He thought excitedly. Then he spoke the words "Huthio shey ningras juo tacktum." The footprints stopped and a dark wolf-like shape appeared. It turned and thingyed its head at him. Then it smiled a smile only a shadow wolf can smile and said "Fortunate man you are. Do you wish to speak with me?" Seumadene replied "Yes, very much indeed! I want to know you better and be like the other man who became so powerful!" The wolf looked sad for a moment. "He died five days ago," said the wolf. He was killed by a man when he was visiting this world." then he said "I will meet you again when I feel you are fully ready." He disappeared leaving Seumadene excited and wondering about this chance. The paw prints continued no more and when Seumadene looked to his plate, his dinner was gone. He thought for a moment and realized that the wolf had eaten it.
