A question I have for everyone is: Who is better? Tolkien or Lewis? Why? This thread is a good idea. *goes off to start a movie thread*

tolkien is better than lewis because he wrote longer and more exciting and killing books

lolz so do i tho i could forward a very reasonable guess that tolkien and lewis are very different types of authors they are both good but are pointed to very different types of people some of you may argue about this and say that they are both good for me and i agree but i personally think that lewis's was more to families and tolkien for just people who are booklovers

C.S Lewis was a really good friend of Tolkien's so they helped each other in the writing of the books, but i agree with ian that narnia is to peaceful. =(

Yeah, that's one of my favorites. It gets really good. My dad and the kids in our family are reading the series, and we've just started VoDT. I've already been through the series, though. Basil and I are sorta petitioning my dad to do the Redwall series next, but I think we're going to do the Pilgrims Progress or LOTR. Both of which would be fine with me, of course. I'd kind of like to read Redwall, too, though. *is attacked by Redwall-hating people* Hey, hey, I like them! WHat's wrong with that? And why cant you people use punctuation and grammar?
